A really good choice for pizza when in Verona. The black dough was amazing and all ingredients/toppings were so fresh. Pizza is executed perfectly - chewy, crispy crust, bubbly cheese, crisp toppings!
Staff is great and works with English speakers! -

Our new favorite restaurant in Verona! Wonderful location with a view of the Arena. Both the regular and the gluten-free pizza are outstanding. The prices are surprisingly low considering the high quality of the food. The regular Margarita pizza was €5, and the gluten-free vegetarian pizza was €8 + €1.50 for GF crust. A glass of good red wine was only €2.50!

Maybe Verona's most modern, trendiest pizza places. They bang out wood fired, Neapolitan pizzas with ease.
I had to try their fried calzone. I was hoping to bring an idea back to the States. While an interesting concept, I didn't like the combination of flavors or smells as much as I would have loved to try their pizzas. It smelled and tasted like a zeppole. While it seemingly works with powdered sugar, it doesn't go as well with savory toppings.
Their pizzas were beautiful though with a flavor to match.
The service is friendly and fast. The decor inside and outside is picturesque.
If it wasn't for the relatively high alcohol prices and the fried calzone, this place would easily be 5 stars for me.
Be sure to call in a reservation. -

So, while traveling throughout Italy, I was excited about the possibility of having great Italian food. I have been gluten free for 6 years, diagnosed with a sever allergy in 2012, and have not had a really good pizza for several years. Peperino...you are like a pilgrims promise. Your GF pizza was out of this world, and I would go to Verona just for this if I was in Italy. It is on GF Focaccia bread, and I almost ordered a second pizza after the first...it was so freaking good. I am back home now and I can't wait to go back sometime soon. Thank you for the great pizza and thank you for hooking a gluten freak up with some pizza that didn't taste like it was used for boxing real pizzas. You guys are the best.

I'm used to Italian customer service being incredibly slow, but it's another thing to be completely rude and insulting to the customer.
